LIGHTOUT™

In November 2017, I conceived and started the LightOut™ initiative in secondary schools across Nigeria, beginning with those within Lagos state. LightOut™ initiative is about deploying music and entertainment to counsel, inspire, guide aright and mentor the students to make wise decisions as they navigate their way through the critical season of adolescence.

There is a lot contending for teenagers’ attention, many of which are more negative than helpful. So, in my little way, I hope to employ personal and other experiences, along with my music, to show young ones that they can shun the decadence that is very rife in today’s world, and choose instead to live by safer, healthier and wiser principles.
